My belated birthday party

Posted 2 April 2005

On the first Saturday of my spring break this year (March 20, 2005), my family invited a number of my friends and their families to come celebrate my 21st birthday. The photos are now online.

The Winters, Robinson, Southerland, and Johnston families were all represented, and Mrs. Houseman even made an appearance, which I was glad for. We kicked things off right with a birthday cake of doom. After that, a bunch of pictures got taken and people talked for a while. Eventually the kids sat down in the living room and started playing Catch Phrase. Then, as people were starting to need to leave, I made sure to get photos with people. And at the very end, Mrs. Johnston requested that I play some worship songs.

After everyone had left (including my parents to take Frederick back to UNT), Eric and I went to Starbucks and talked for a while. I told Stephan not to throw his own party while I was gone, and he promised convincingly.
