Easter Sunday at the Barbre's

Posted 6 April 2005

On Easter Sunday of my spring break (March 27, 2005), I went up to Stillwater to spend Easter with my sister Stacey and her family. The photos can be found in the gallery.

Daniel's birthday was the 26th, so while we were there, Uncle Stephan asked Daniel how old he was.

Daniel : Seven!
Kaydra : No, he's three!
Daniel : shouting with a surprised look on his face FREE?!

Later when I was relating the story (it was really ~~cute~~ funny the way he shouted "free"), Daniel piped up again and insisted he was free. And then he held up four fingers to emphasize his point.

The kids went on an Easter Egg hunt, which was largely successful, although Daniel got distracted a few times. Shortly after that we all sat down and watched The Incredibles, which is an absolutely amazing movie. Before leaving I made sure to get a photo with the kids, to help document how much they've grown even in the free months since I saw them at Christmas.
