lessons learned in production

Hey there! This article was written in 2005.

It might not have aged well for any number of reasons, so keep that in mind when reading (or clicking outgoing links!).

Happy birthday to me

Posted 8 March 2005

Today I turned 21. I don't have much ability to say anything more right now -- I'm debilitatingly tired, and I have a final tomorrow. I'm going to take a nap until around midnight and then start studying. Meanwhile, the computer chip that Andy and I have been designing has been coming together pretty well. Andy graciously went to the lab without me for a while this afternoon, and the thing is almost completely finished, and now we just need to fix a few bugs that cropped up in testing. What? We started three days ago? I'll take "Booyah" for a million, Alex!

Man, I could go for some sleep right about now. Although regardless of that, I want to say that I've been having a phenomenal past two weeks. Things have been going great, I just haven't had any desire to blog.

Throw warm wishes and cheery birthday greetings in the comments, rather than IM, please. I prefer comments on the site to receiving an IM in this case.
