  4. Acts 1:1-11

Genesis 1-2

Covers the creation of the world, and details the creation of man.

Psalms 1

Compares the man who chooses righteousness with the man who chooses sin. The righteous man is blessed and prospers; the sinner will wither and die.

Matthew 1:1-17

The genealogy of Jesus.

Acts 1:1-11

Starts out with "In my previous letter..." What previous letter? The writer isn't named, but according to my Bible early accounts are that the book of Acts was written by Luke. These 11 verses summarize Jesus' final words to the disciples and his ascension.
